Construction of Amber's 12th birthday wishes next, after Chris's birthday.

For grand daughter Amber's 11th birthday
with an instant promotion into her twelfth year -- "She is now living her 12th year" --
that idea makes grandpa Harvey in his 84th year, always taking credit/responsibility for the year he's living. This post had limited success with GP's waning ability but his intentions remain worthy and partially successful subject to improvement applied to future celebrations. Specific improvement is the digitization of family slides.
GP Harv frequently has Amber in mind;
here are a few pix representations,
especially representing the Baldwin Park early morning routine of Amber early-arising, the transfer to GP, and out-of-the-house walking to the Baldwin Park armory busy street corner with the car lights, stop/go lights, a convenient seat on the neighbors convenient seat-high wall, then, when bored, back across the street, to the bus stop shelter, Amber climbing the seat and protected interior, the frequent surprise stop of the city bus with the driver inquiring if we wanted to get a ride, and for a finale, a peaceful walk home with not a movement from Amber, sometimes asleep already, many times not, but absolutely motionless and relaxed, just slowly walking along with no distraction, GP curious as to her thoughts/feelings, then when turning the final corner at Lower Union Road, the sleeping seeds plantings grew, and in several more minutes walking down the block, came the gentle entrance to 3624, GP would many times spread Amber's blanket unto the living room carpet, lay her peacefully undisturbed as she was absorbed in her sweet dreams, then we both awaited the stirrings of Chris, Tina, Lance, Jared, Titus in jumbled order, for another Dynamism Central day at, with GP centered around the Baldwin Park Florida homestead, participating in intergenerational retirement via the living room daybed.
Home from the early morning adventure. |
Amber begins with a Question: "If this left hand metal thing goes into this right hand red slot thing, why doesn't the belt stretch around and hold me? SOMETHING'S NOT RIGHT." |
GP watched, Amber's mind worked, and after many seconds of mental/physical purposeful reorientations, Amber had her seat belt connected correctly around her. ALMOST.
